ELKHART – Police in Elkhart are looking for the people who shot and killed a 25-year-old man.
Around 10 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to the 700 block of W. Garfield to help a person who needed medical assistance.
There, they found Durwood Elliott III of Elkhart unresponsive.
Elliott was rushed to Elkhart General Hospital where he was pronounced dead from an apparent gunshot wound.
An autopsy was scheduled on Wednesday.
Police are not releasing any details about the suspects.
