PENN TOWNSHIP — Fire destroyed a home Thursday afternoon at the corner of Apple and Edison roads in Penn Township.
This happened around 2 p.m. The family who lives at the home is safe, according to a WSBT photographer who was at the scene, but their cat is missing.
Firefighters told WSBT a roofing company was working on the house when it caught fire, but right now they do not believe the roofing work and the fire were related. They won’t know for sure until the investigation is complete.
