BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) — Southern Indiana police say a weekend fire damaged the roof and attic of a fraternity house on the Indiana University campus.
No injuries were reported in Sunday's fire at the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity house. IU Police Department Chief Cash tells WISH-TV that police and fire agencies were called to the home about 10:15 a.m. Sunday after callers reported there was smoke in the house.
Cash says fire crews arrived and located a small fire in the attic above a common room in the house. The fire's cause remains under investigation.
The Herald-Times reports that the fraternity house's occupants were not allowed to stay in the building overnight Sunday because of holes in the roof.
Utilities were also cut to the building.
