Fire's cause being investigated

What caused Monday’s fire at Lightning Litho Printing on South Miami Street is under investigation. The business was closed and residents of two apartments above the business were unharmed.

Fire crews found heavy smoke coming through the roof of the cock-loft area when they arrived, just after 2 p.m.

The fire caused roughly $20,000 damage to the building and $50,000 to its contents, according to a South Bend Fire Department report.
