LAKEVILLE – Fire struck a home near Lakeville Wednesday morning.
It happened around 8:30 just west of the town in the 23400 block of Quinn Road.
The blaze appeared to have been under control, but two hours after emergency crews were called to the scene, the fire was still going.
Firefighters had to be pulled out because the roof was about to collapse.
The owner said the house was empty. It had been rented out in the past, but no one was living there now.
The owner operates a farm next to the house. No other buildings or animals were affected
WSBT has a crew on the scene.
