MISHAWAKA -- Electronics Inc. believes work should be fun for its employees.

A professional masseuse on Fridays, cookouts in the summer. monthly
gourmet breakfasts and lunches and pontoon boat rides down the St.
Joseph River are just some of the attractions of the company located
on Magnetic Drive in Mishawaka.

Electronics Inc. was one of the winners at the Samaritan Counseling
Center's 11th Annual Samaritan Awards Luncheon Thursday at Windsor
Park Conference Center in Mishawaka.

"You just love your employees and it pays back," said company
President Jack Champaigne, who started the company in 1974. Today, the
company has 23 employees and only one has left in the last 12 years.

Electronics Inc. manufactures and distributes gauges, valves and test
coupons for the shot peening industry. The company has customers in 45
countries, including China.

Champaigne said he tries to treat his vendors well, too.

To him, it's like a food chain. "You have your vendors, you have your
employees, you have your customers," he said.

"And if you break the chain, it's broken. We send gift baskets to our vendors.

"We do everything we can to make our employees happy. You treat it
