I stopped a thief myself in Walgreens several years ago after telling a store clerk about seeing him load his waistband with items. She said there was nothing she could do. I said call 911, and she said she wasn't allowed, angry at her, I stopped the kid and shook the crap out of him and retrieved most of what he had, but got hurt in the process.....I was told by the store manager I had no right to stop him, and was refused even some ice for my bruise, and told to leave the store!!! No thank you for getting most of the merchandise back or anything but told to leave. My money spends very well in other places.
This man should have been given a medal. Walgreens policy ins stupid. People have to protect themselves, cause we all know the police typically are not there when you need them, until after the fact. Walgreens should have maybe repremanded him for not followinf policy but surely not fired himed. he was protecting their property and the lives of others. I commend him!!
Walgreens will never get my business again!
