GOODLAND – An entire town in Indiana is without water Tuesday night after its water tower collapsed.

The Newton County Sheriff's Department says the tower in Goodland collapsed late last night.

The town marshal says they do not know yet what caused it to collapse.

The town, about 30 miles northwest of Lafayette, has about 1,000 people.

It is also not known how long the town will have to go without water because a new water tower will have to be built.

At this time, people are using bottled water that was donated from a nearby town.
