Hoosier Racing Tire announced Thursday that it is investing $8 million to construct a 37,000 square-foot expansion to their production plant in Plymouth – with an expected 20 new jobs created in the short-term.

The addition to the rubber mixing plant will integrate operations previously outsourced to Ohio.

The City of Plymouth will consider a tax abatement petition for Hoosier Racing Tire on January 11. The Indiana Economic Development Corporation has offered the company tax credits up to $140,000 based on projected job creation.
