WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) — Authorities in Macomb County were trying to identify a woman whose body was found in the parking lot of a mobile home park.

Officials say a passing motorist saw the body about 8:30 a.m. Sunday near 28 Mile and Van Dyke in Washington Township.

Sheriff Anthony Wickersham tells The Detroit News that the woman may have been hit by a vehicle at another location and moved to the spot where her body was found.

The victim was white and between the ages of 25 and 35. She was about 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighed 120 pounds. The woman was wearing a tan shirt, denim jeans, brown leather jacket and white scarf when her body was found. There were rings on both her ring fingers.
