The Indiana Department of Education has released school accountability data for this year under both the state’s own plan, called Public Law 221, and the federal accountability plan.
In a news release, state schools Superintendent Tony Bennett said a record number of schools across the state, 775 in total, received an "A" or "exemplary" ranking based on student performance and improvement data from the state’s ISTEP test and End of Course Assessments.
