After their biggest win in many years, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish keep climbing in the college football polls.

In the latest Associated Press poll released Sunday afternoon, Notre Dame is No. 4.

Saturday night, the Irish dismantled then 8th-ranked Oklahoma, 30-13, in Norman to improve to a perfect 8-0.

The new BCS rankings, which determine who will play in the national championship game, will be released Sunday night, and Notre Dame is projected to jump to No. 3 behind Alabama and Kansas State.

The AP poll has Alabama number one followed by Oregon, Kansas St., Notre Dame and LSU.

Ohio State, which is not eligible for the BCS rankings, is number 6 by the AP. Georgia is 7th. Florida, who lost its first game to Georgia Saturday, plummeted from 2nd to 8th. Florida State and Clemson round out the top 10.

Future Irish opponent, USC, dropped from 9th to 18th after a shocking 39-36 loss at Arizona.
