SILVER LAKE – A shoplifting arrest has landed a Kosciusko County in a whole lot of hot water with police.
Warsaw police were called to a local business early Monday morning regarding a shoplifting.
While on the scene, officers learned 30-year-old Michael Crum of Silver Lake was wanted in Wabash County for another crime.
Police scoured through Crum’s vehicle and found several items used to make methamphetamine and determined there was probably more meth-related items at his home.
Deputies and members of the county’s Drug Task Force went to Crum’s home on County 200 West and found a meth lab and several hydrochloric acid generators.
Crum is being held in the Kosciusko County Jail without bond charged with felony manufacturing methamphetamine with the possibility of an additional charge of deal meth.
