SOUTH BEND--The Salvation Army's Kroc Center has canceled all of its classes until 4 p.m. today, but it is offering a special day camp for children ages 6 to 12 today because of the weather-related school closures.
The center itself and its fitness facilities are open.
The day camp is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. It costs $25 for members and $35 for nonmembers. The center is at Chapin Street and Western Avenue.
By 2 p.m., Salvation Army officials say they hope to make a decision about whether to open its evening classes.
