The latest unemployment report is out for Indiana, and it doesn't show much change for the state or local counties.
Indiana's May unemployment rate remained below the national average at 7.9 percent, the exact same number as April.
There was very little change among local counties. Some are down slightly, others up slightly.
St. Joseph County remained unchanged at 8.9 percent.
Elkhart County is down a tenth of a point to 8.6 percent.
The state says 7700 private sector jobs were created across Indiana in May. The unemployment rate not changing may be a sign that more people are returning to the workforce.
