During their investigation, Kosciusko County police learned 49-year-old Grover Layne likely had been having sex with a teen for two years. Thursday, detectives arrested Layne on three preliminary felony charges of child molestation of a now 14-year-old girl.
Police began investigating recent allegations against Layne, according to a news release from Sgt. Chad Hill, Kosciusko County Sheriff Department's public information officer.
Layne confessed to having engaged in sex with the girl on numerous occasions, according to the news release.
Layne, of Leesburg, is being held in the Kosciusko County Jail on $20,000 bond.
