FIFE LAKE, Mich. (AP) — Authorities say a 63-year-old man has died after the tractor he was using flipped in Michigan's northwestern Lower Peninsula.
The Traverse City Record-Eagle and WWTV/WWUP report the Warren man was apparently clearing stumps, trees and debris in the Fife Lake area. His body was found Friday.
Authorities say the man appeared to have been pinned under the tractor about 15 miles southeast of Traverse City for several days. It wasn't known exactly when he died.
The man was found after Grand Traverse County sheriff's deputies were sent to check on his well-being. His name wasn't immediately released.
