TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (AP) — A Grand Traverse County man has been sentenced to two to five years behind bars for a drunken driving crash that injured two women.

Witnesses told police that Ryan Decatur's vehicle barreled down Front Street in Traverse City at about 60 miles per hour and smashed into a cab at an intersection on Oct. 20.

The 22-year-old from Long Lake Township apologized to the victims during Friday's sentencing, saying he's "extremely ashamed" of what he's done.

The two women in the cab were Kayla Casciano and Amanda Aldrich.

The Traverse City Record-Eagle reports (http://bit.ly/YpXEZj ) Casciano underwent surgery for a cervical fracture, and both women endured months of physical therapy.
