On Monday we could learn the name of a driver killed in a fiery weekend crash in Cass County.
It happened just after midnight Sunday. Michigan State Police tell us an SUV crashed into trees near the intersection of Redfield Street and Fir Road.
By the time officers got there, the car was on fire.
Police say no one saw the accident, only the aftermath.
Neighbors tell us this stretch of road is a common place where cars attempt to pass each other, but it's not clear if that played a role in this crash.
Police are now trying to figure out what did cause this crash.
