BENTON HARBOR, Mich. – Will he be able to lead a southwest Michigan town out of financial trouble?
Monday night, the Benton Harbor community has the chance to meet its new state-appointed Emergency Financial Manager.
New Financial Manager Tony Saunders is holding a Town Hall meeting in Benton Harbor.
Saunders wants people to share their concerns and suggestions regarding the city's struggling financial situation.
The 2009 University of Michigan graduate replaces Joe Harris as the state appointed financial manager.
Saunders helped get Highland Park, Michigan out of debt.
The meeting starts at 6 p.m. in the Business Growth Center on Paw Paw Avenue.
