SWANZEY, N.H. (AP) — Officials at a New Hampshire high school say they will no longer allow a group to distribute what are described as safe sex kits to students because the contents include flavored lubricant and candy as well as condoms.
Bruce Barlow of the Monadnock High School board in Swanzey says the initial distribution of the kits was approved by school officials, but officials didn't know the contents.
Some parents were upset.
AIDS Services for the Monadnock Region is now banned from the school district.
Susan MacNeil of AIDS Services for the Monadnock Region tells WMUR-TV it's unfortunate some people are upset.
