UNDATED (AP) — It's Valentine's Day, when many folks get a little carried away with affairs of the heart.

In newspapers throughout the country today, love lines pepper the classified ads. Such as this one in the Los Angeles Times: I love you more today than yesterday, but not as much as tomorrow. In the Mount Vernon News in Ohio: I love you to the moon and back. And in the Washington Post: Pookie Bear...you're the answer to my prayers.

And, it was on a subway train in Philadelphia yesterday that Krisy Plourde and Tom Golden exchanged their vows, with Mayor Michael Nutter officiating as the train sped down the rails with friends and family on board.

In Florida, there are so few men at Edgewater Point Estates in Boca Raton that the retirement community brings in men to take the ladies for a whirl on the dance floor. True, some of those men are also of retirement age, but young men from local college fraternities are also brought in to help fill the void.
