INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Police say investigators didn't find any weapon on a burglary suspect who was fatally shot by Indianapolis officers responding to a reported break-in.

A police report says Henry was shot after he refused to show his hands and reached for his waistband. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

It wasn't clear how many times Henry was shot.

The officers weren't injured.

The officers, Christopher Wilburn and Erik Keyes, are on paid administrative leave pending an internal investigation

Police spokeswoman Linda Jackson says neither officer has previously been involved in an officer-involved shooting.
