Responding to President Barack Obama poking fun at the new neon green Notre Dame men's basketball team uniforms, the following was tweeted by the team’s official account:
Notre Dame MBB: "Pres. @BarackObama: @NDMikeBrey wanted you to see the @adidasHoops jersey in person. This is on its way http://ow.ly/i/1Jkbx"
Obama picked Notre Dame in his bracket this week, but has them losing against Ohio State in the next round.
“I am wearing a green tie today because we’ve got the Irish prime minister visiting. But that neon glow thing wasn’t working for me,” Obama said while making his selections.
