ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — A fire official says a man was critically injured after falling more than 30 feet while apparently climbing the outside of a medical building in Ann Arbor.
AnnArbor.com reports (http://bit.ly/A6Xd2h) the man fell shortly after 1 a.m. Friday at the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center and landed on a glass overhang. The man was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Acting Battalion Chief Amy Brow says the man wasn't working at the cancer center and it wasn't immediately known why he was on the building. She says people reported seeing him climbing before he fell.
Brow says the glass overhang didn't break when the man landed on it.
