GRANGER – St. Joseph County police are looking for the driver of a pickup truck that slammed into a utility pole on Grape Road Sunday morning.
Around 6:30 a.m., police were called to Grape and Barton St, just north of Cleveland Road.
A county dispatcher tells WSBT no one was inside the truck, but power lines were hanging very low across Grape when emergency crews arrived on the scene.
The dispatcher said the truck was locked.
American Electric Power was immediately called to help remove the lines and repair possible power outages in the area.
As of 8:30 a.m., no outages were reported in the AEP region.
