FARMERSBURG, Ind. (AP) — State police have arrested a western Indiana man who they say fired gunshots at the television station where he was formerly employed.
Sgt. Joe Watts said 24-year-old Kenneth Trey Bolinger of Farmersburg was being held in the Sullivan County Jail on $39,000 bond Saturday on preliminary charges of criminal mischief and criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon.
Police responded about 8:30 a.m. Saturday to Terre Haute NBC affiliate WTWO on U.S. 41 in Farmersburg after the building and two vehicles were damaged by gunfire.
No injuries were reported.
Watts says Bolinger is believed to have been recently terminated from the news agency.
