DETROIT (AP) — Detroit police are searching for a man suspected of offering to help a couple in a stalled vehicle before sexually assaulting one of them.
Police say a 55-year-woman and her 63-year-old husband were in the vehicle Tuesday on the city's east side when the man approached them. Police say the suspect showed a weapon, demanded money and sexually assaulted the woman before fleeing.
Police say the woman was treated and released. Her husband wasn't injured. Investigators are seeking tips from the public in the case.
