Sturgis police say Child Protective Services called them to the 1000 block of Cato Lane after finding two crack pipes in the home – which led to the discovery of drugs. A 3-year-old was taken into protective custody.
This happened Wednesday around 10:40 a.m. The officers seized the crack pipes, which were found on an end table and in the bedroom, and obtained a search warrant for the home. They say they found methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and packaging material.
A man and woman, both 23, face charges for possession of meth, maintaining a drug house, possession of drug paraphernalia and child endangerment.
