If you live in either St. Joseph or Elkhart Counties in Indiana and you still haven't paid your property taxes -- you don't have much time left.
The deadline to pay those taxes is at the end of the business day Tuesday.
Because the government observed Veterans Day Monday, there was no mail service.
Therefore, as long as payments are post-marked by today they'll be considered on-time.
Keep in mind that because of the Veterans Day holiday, mail carriers will be starting on their routes Tuesday morning earlier than normal, so be sure to get the check in the mailbox on-time.
You can also pay in-person at the County-City Building in South Bend or the Mishawaka County Services building.
