SOUTH BEND – South Bend and Mishawaka police worked together to capture a reckless driver Monday afternoon.
Both cities’ 911 dispatch centers tell WSBT around 2:30 p.m., a man driving a blue Ford Expedition was trying to run people off the road.
A police chase started at East Calvert and Caroline St. in South Bend and ended just a few minutes later at Parkview Terrace Apartments on East 13th St. in Mishawaka, where the suspect was arrested.
South Bend Police Captain Phil Trent says police originally got a call about an armed disturbance that cited a suspect vehicle nearby and "the chase was on."
