ST. JOSEPH COUNTY -- Sunday we thanked and celebrated the men and women who have fought, or who are fighting for our country. But don't forget -- the holiday is observed Monday.
Many government and county offices will be closed to observe the holiday.
Also, most area banks are closed Monday as Veterans Day is a federal holiday.
And don't expect to see the mail carrier today -- remember, there is no mail service Monday.
If your trash is scheduled to be picked up on Monday morning, it will be picked up Tuesday morning. Pick-up will be pushed back by one day this week, so plan accordingly.
