ELKHART COUNTY – An Elkhart County man has pleaded guilty in a hit-and-run that severely injured a teen.
Pasquale Rulli pleaded guilty on Wednesday to leaving the scene of an accident resulting in serious bodily injury. That’s a felony.
17-year old Zion Carlstrom suffered serious head, arm and leg injuries when she was hit last summer near Middlebury.
She is recovering and going through rehab now and hopes to graduate in the spring with her senior class.
Rulli told police the next day he thought he hit a deer.
He faces up to 3 years in prison when sentenced in March.
