SOUTH BEND—
Firefighters quickly found a person trapped in a burning house early Saturday morning. The person was taken to Memorial Hospital. There’s no immediate information on their condition.
South Bend fire crews were called to the house in the 500 block of North Twyckenham Drive about 6:20 a.m.
Smoke and flames were coming from the house as firefighters arrived. The fire was quickly brought under control.
