The musicians up for a Grammy Award this weekend include Taylor Swift, Kelly Clarkson, and Jonathan Miller, who is a pastor at Faith Apostolic Ministries in South Bend.
“I was shocked to say the least and I’m really, really appreciative for the nomination alone,” he said.
Miller is nominated in the category of “Best Gospel Song” for the track “I Feel Good,” which he co-wrote.
“If it's raining outside, you turn that song on and it does what it says,” Miller said, “it makes you feel good.”
He says he wishes he could be in Los Angeles for the ceremony, but he can’t make it.
Sundays tend to be a busy day for him.
“There are people here that need me. They should have the Grammys on a Monday next time and I’ll make sure I'm there,” he said.
