No word yet of any arrests as Metro Homicide detectives investigate a deadly late night shooting in South Bend.
Police say neighbors heard several shots fired just before 11 Thursday night near the corner of Lindsey and Leland, on the northwest side.
Police say it appears an argument preceding the shooting.
When police arrived at the scene, they found 22-year-old Ramon Hamilton dead on the sidewalk..
“It appears he's been shot at least one time,” said Lt. Dave Wells with Metro Homicide. “At this time we're interviewing witnesses at the homicide unit and the investigation continues into who was out here.”
It appears multiple shots were fired, because the scene had several shell casings.
