If you are taking the South Shore this morning toward Chicago, expect delays.

Trains west of Michigan City are running about 10 to 15 minutes behind because of a broken rail.

This is expected to affect rush hour trains arriving in Chicago until 8:45 a.m.

A spokesman tells WSBT this is not related to the wind.
