Anxious students will have to wait until Monday to find if they won the chance to buy tickets to the Notre Dame-Alabama BCS national title game in Miami.
The deadline to apply for that student lottery drawing ended at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday.
The university set aside 2,500 of its 17,000 bowl game tickets for students to purchase.
Josh Burlow with the Notre Dame Athletic Department says they received more than 6,000 applications. That's half of the entire student body.
Winners will be announced Monday.
Names will be posted online on a university lottery web page.
Students get one ticket at a cost of $150.
Eligible students will pick up tickets at the bowl game site in Miami, but must have their student ID with them.
