A crash Saturday morning on S.R. 15, south of C.R. 50, killed a 21-year-old Warsaw man. He was a passenger in a pickup truck that was pulling a travel trailer.
An Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department crash report states 25-year-old Brandon Eigsti, of Warsaw, was driving a 1999 Chevy Silverado south on S.R. 15 at 9 a.m., when the truck went off the west side of S.R. 15 and struck a tree. The truck and trailer then slid into a ditch.
The passenger, Steven Eigsti, was trapped in the truck and had to be extricated. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
