Officers with the Berrien Springs-Oronoko Township Police Department reported Tuesday the arrests of two people in connection with six break-ins of motor vehicles in the village and on the campus of Andrews University.

Police Chief Milton Agay said video surveillance cameras helped officers identify a vehicle and the suspects.

Interviews with the two resulted in confessions and an admission that they had broken as well into other vehicles in the Baroda and Lake Township areas, police said.

Several hundred dollars in cash and assorted electronic equipment were recovered, police said.

Also recovered was a window punch the suspects allegedly used to gain entry to the autos.
