ELKHART – Elkhart County police are hunting for two men who robbed a north side Elkhart gas station Tuesday night.
Around 8 p.m., sheriff’s deputies were called to the Marathon near Simonton Lake on Cassopolis St.

Police say two men wearing black masks and gloves walked into the gas station/convenience store armed with handguns. They demanded money from the store clerk and took an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.
Investigators say the suspects left the store, got into a gold SUV and headed west on Roseland Rd.
Police are asking for the public’s help in finding the robbers and their SUV.
