The identity of an Eklhart man killed in a fiery crash early Saturday morning on Old U.S. 20, east of C.R. 1, was released Wednesday by the Elkhart County Sheriff's Department.
Matthew Fearnow, 34, of Eklhart, died when the 1995 Toyota Corolla he was driving drove off the south side of the road, struck a pickup truck parked in the driveway of 29468 Old U.S. 20, and then a tree. The crash happened about 3:50 a.m.
Elkhart County Coroner John White and sheriff's department used fingerprint comparisons to identify Fearnow.
