SOUTH BEND – The Potawatomi Zoo opened during the off-season Saturday for what’s known as “Winter Days.”
But it didn’t feel very much like winter, and that may be why so many people showed up.
Big crowds turned out, the biggest so far by the zoo’s Winter Days standards.
WSBT photojournalist Jade Birch spoke with zoo-goers about the animals and the weather.
