Both Gressley and Moore were transported to the Whitely County Jail as the children were taken into protective custody.
On Saturday, information was obtained that Gressley and Moore could possibly be the sought after couple from the Leesburg Freedom Express convenience store armed robbery in Kosciusko County on Friday afternoon. South Whitely officers had originally located a knife belonging to Gressley that was later determined to have been the weapon allegedly used during the gas station hold-up. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department detectives went to the Whitley County Jail and interviewed both Gressley and Moore who confessed to the Leesburg armed robbery involvement.

Gressley was also charges with driving while suspended and currently has a bond of $27,500 while Moore has a bond of $24,000 in Whitley County. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s detectives have also placed a hold on the couple as preliminary charges of felony robbery while armed with a deadly weapon are being issued by the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office.
