JONES, Mich. – The lake effect snow we got this weekend is just they’ve been hoping for at the Swiss Valley Ski Resort in Jones, Mich.
Sunday is opening day for skiing and snowboarding.
Swiss Valley starts letting people hit the slopes at 10 a.m.
Before Saturday’s snow, they had been making snow at Swiss Valley ever since it got cold, and they say they have an excellent base now in place.
