Forecasters are predicting more snow in the next couple days, but many people in southwest Michigan spent their Thursday digging out after up to a foot of it fell in some areas.  Wednesday’s heavy lake effect caused police in Berrien County to respond to dozens of accidents and slide-offs.  They even shut down part of I-94 for a while because conditions there were so treacherous.

WSBT’s Kelli Stopczynski talked with a lot of people who said “it’s about time” for the first big snowfall of the season, but it’s also a big reminder that winter weather can be scary. Watch the video to see her entire report.
