Forecasters are predicting more snow in the next couple days, but many people in southwest Michigan spent their Thursday digging out after up to a foot of it fell in some areas. Wednesday’s heavy lake effect caused police in Berrien County to respond to dozens of accidents and slide-offs. They even shut down part of I-94 for a while because conditions there were so treacherous.
