TROY, Mich. (AP) — Authorities say a 52-year-old woman has died after being struck by a fellow customer's car in a parking lot while leaving a suburban Detroit grocery store.
The Detroit News reports (http://bit.ly/TdGpXf ) the woman was struck Sunday outside Atlas Market and Bakery in Troy and the driver apparently didn't see the woman walking.
Store manager Ray Elia says the woman was dragged before the car stopped.
The names of those involved weren't immediately released. The Oakland County medical examiner's office says an autopsy is planned for Monday.
