MTV 'Teen Mom' Amber Portwood loses custody of daughter

Indiana's own "Teen Mom" has lost custody of her young daughter. According to TMZ.com, an Andersons, Indiana judge ruled Amber Portwood's ex is the more suitable parent for their two-year-old.

According to court testimony, Child Protective Services made the recommendation that Gary Shirley should take over raising Leah because Portwood's home and car were recently vandalized. Amber agreed Leah would be better off with Shirley but she will still have visitation rights.

Shirley posted a message on twitter Wednesday, saying "appreciate everyone's support."
