Four individuals killed in a plane crash in Northwestern Illinois died from blunt force trauma, according to an autopsy report released Monday.

The report said Ray Harris of Marion and his two daughters, Ramie and Shey, along with Chris Backus died on impact.

Shey was an Anderson University student. Backus attended Indiana Wesleyan. The single-engine plane was on its way to Wheaton College, where Ramie attended, when Harris crashed.

Investigators said there was no medical cause that may have led to the crash and that toxicology results are pending.
