Police say a teen was shot while riding on the back of a scooter on the city's west side Tuesday.
It happened in the near West 10th and North Concord Streets around 8:30 p.m.
Officers arriving on the scene found a 15-year-old boy suffering apparent gunshot wounds to his back left side and upper shoulder.
According to witnesses that spoke to police, a gold Chrysler was parked on Concord Street. As the scooter passed the vehicle the witness reportedly saw a man stick a gun out of the front passenger window and fire a shot.
Police said the gold Chrysler left the scene headed west on 10th Street after the crime.
The teen was taken to Wishard Hospital in serious condition.
